Rent a ready-to-go Starlink Kit from $25/day, or only $150/week.
Super fast, low-latency internet, anywhere. Local pickup in Meridian, Idaho.
Why? What is Starlink?
We get it. You have an epic adventure planned, but for one reason or another, you need some internet connectivity. Whether it is family, work, or just entertainment, there's no reason you can't do both.
Starlink is a satellite internet constellation project developed by SpaceX. It aims to provide high-speed, low-latency internet access worldwide to underserved and remote areas. Thousands of small satellites are being launched into orbit to create a network that can deliver internet connectivity to users on the ground, including in rural and remote regions where traditional internet infrastructure is lacking. Right now there are over 8,000 satellites buzzing over our head at 17,000 miles per hour!
Starlink works pretty much anywhere in and around Idaho, you will just want to orient it to face the north, and make sure you have an unobstructed view of the northern sky.
At about the same dimensions as a piece of letter-size paper, Starlink Mini's are the newest, smallest generation of Starlink that are designed to take just about anywhere. Perfect for our great state of Idaho!
-
Idaho is full of special places, and while we love being "off the grid", sometimes we have to stay in touch with work, friends, or family. We've had lots of use on epic camping trips near Stanley, Yellowstone, or your secret spot!
Bringing a Starlink kit on your next trip provides peace of mind.
-
Set up temporary Starlink terminals to provide high-speed Wi-Fi access to all your attendees. Whether it's live streaming, ticket sales, or just keeping guests connected, Starlink's low latency and high bandwidth make it perfect for large-scale events where traditional internet infrastructure may be lacking.
-
Whether you're on a cross-country road trip, jet boating in Hells Canyon, deer hunting near Pinehurst, or camping in a remote wilderness, Starlink's portability and global coverage ensure you're always connected. Use the compact Starlink terminal to set up a reliable Wi-Fi hotspot wherever you go.
How it works
We keep it simple and provide everything you need - your kit comes with the following:
- Starlink Mini terminal (dish)
- A charged 72,000+ mAH battery that will power the unit for 8+ hours.
- Rugged / waterproof case for the equipment
- 12v power supply for vehicle-supplied power
- All necessary cables to power the Starlink unit, either by the included battery, a vehicle, or by A/C power.
We charge $25 per day, or $150 per week per kit. If you need extra batteries or other accessories, we rent them as well.
We charge a 100% refundable security deposit of $100 for each kit. This helps ensure the equipment is brought back in working order. If the equipment is in working order (after you check it back it in), you will be refunded the security deposit within 24 hours of check-in.
You can use as little or as much bandwidth as you want (though we encourage you to enjoy the outdoors!), we just ask that you don't abuse this.
We don't charge for the first day if you pickup at 3pm or later - so you can get an early start on your next adventure.
Pickup location is in Meridian, Idaho.

Made our fishing trip possible.
JTBoiseWe went on a boating and fishing trip into Hells Canyon, but I run a small business and have to check in with employees from time to time. Before, we would have to drive an hour to find a spot with cell phone reception. Now, I can spend time having fun while still being able to check in with my employees!
Roadtrip & Rafting Awesomeness
RodMeridianWe took a roadtrip from Meridian up to Salmon to float the Middle Fork of the Salmon River. The Starlink Mini is so small, it was no problem to take along even on the rafts.
There we were, in the most remote part of the Frank Church Wilderness Area, and I could check in with home in the evenings and let them know we were having a blast. Awesome!
Being on-call doesn't have to ruin your weekend!
RameshKuna, IDI work in IT and am on-call once every few months. Before, I would have to stay home that weekend in case something happened. Now, I can go wherever I want, even when I am on-call and still be reachable! This is a game changer and gives me that time back instead of being stuck at home.
Perfect for backcountry trips
EdgarCaldwell, IdahoAs a backcountry pilot, we all know most backcountry strips in Idaho don't have common services like electricity or cell phone service. Hell, we're usually happy if we have an outhouse stocked with single-ply USFS-grade toilet paper.
This is a perfect kit for those of us who make occasional trips into the backcountry but still need a lifeline into home in case something goes wrong, or we get socked in with weather and need to stay an extra day. Worked great on our trip to Moose Creek and middle fork strips for some flying, downtime, and fishing!
Perfect for building
Steve ZanbariMcCall, IDI'm building a place up in the mountains without good internet options. I have some occasional needs where we need to coordinate with material deliveries, scheduling trades, or just checking in with my wife to let her know how things are going at the build site.
A rental Starlink has been a godsend on a couple occasions - I don't need it full time but it is nice to have the option to rent when needed.
Rolled Truck
Steve BentzOla, IdI was driving to find a camp site in the evening this September, when I found an old-timer that had rolled his truck and needed help. We were in an area without cell coverage, but thankfully I rented a Starlink kit for the weekend. Texted a buddy with a 4x4 rig and a winch and we got him upright again and then proceeded to have an awesome weekend. Didn't expect to have to use it for something like this, but you never know what you'll come across in the Idaho backcountry! Be prepared is all I can say.
Worked great in Alaska!
Rick S.Boise, IDWe did a fishing trip in Alaska, and the house we rented had really slow DSL internet. Luckily we brought a Starlink along, and everyone in the group was able to stay connected when we got back home in the evenings.

FAQ
Will Starlink work everywhere?
Generally yes, provided the Starlink terminal has an unobstructed view of the sky. It will also work on coastal waters, but not open ocean.
What kind of speed can I expect?
Speed is usually comperable to residential broadband. We usually see 100-250 Mbps down and 10-20 Mbps up.
Can I travel with the kit?
Yes, of course! One thing to be aware of is our large power banks have too much capacity to be allowed on commercial airlines. If you plan on traveling by air, you can travel with the Starlink, but would need to leave the battery behind.
How many wifi clients will one Starlink support?
The published limit for the Starlink Mini is 128 clients.
Do I need the Starlink app on my phone?
No, you don't need the app to use Starlink. You can install it if you'd like, to view obstruction data and usage metrics while your device is connected to the Starlink terminal via wifi. An account is not required.
Can I use Starlink on a cruise ship?
Most likely, no. In addition to probably not having a clear view of the sky from your stateroom, most cruise companies do not allow Starlink onboard (presumably so you must purchase their wifi packages).
Can I power the Starlink with my own power bank?
Sure! If you have a suitable Jackery or other power bank, go right ahead. Your power bank must have a 100 watt Power Delivery (PD) USB-C port (20 volts). Starlink will not work with 60W PD USB-C ports.
